Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Pulsely ("we", "our", "us") is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that monitors Reddit and Hacker News for user-defined keywords and delivers real-time alerts via email and Slack. By using Pulsely, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Account Terms

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Subscription & Billing

Pulsely offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly through our payment partner, Paddle.com, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions.

• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Paddle handles all payment processing, invoicing, and sales tax/VAT compliance.
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days' prior notice.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day refund window from the date of your initial subscription purchase. If you are unsatisfied with Pulsely for any reason within this period, contact us at support@getpulsely.com for a full refund.

• Refunds are not available after the 14-day window.
• Refunds for renewal charges are handled on a case-by-case basis.
• Refunds are processed through Paddle and may take 5–10 business days.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Use the Service to send spam, harass, or abuse others.
• Resell access to the Service without our written permission.
• Circumvent any usage limits or restrictions of your plan.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, logos, and documentation, is owned by Pulsely and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

Pulsely is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pulsely shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You can delete your account from your dashboard settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
